Human survival is predicated upon movement, but does your client, patient, or athlete move correctly to avoid injury? As overuse and dysfunction cases continue to rise, coaches and trainers need to understand and apply the foundational concepts of mobility and stability throughout the kinetic chain into programming. This workshop investigates the body’s biological stability-mobility design and its application to movement at the foot, ankle, knee and hips. You will assess postural misalignments and movement dysfunctions in the lower extremity using simple tools and screens, from which causes can be identified. You will learn how apply a simple, sequential corrective exercise model to restore the mobility-stability relationship and promote proper movement mechanics to avoid injury.
