Ideal for trainers working with sedentary individuals or those in the actively ageing demographic, this course equips you with practical tools and strategies to improve your clients’ strength, flexibility, and quality of life.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
- To understand the rising percentage of sedentary working populations and the risks that follow
- To understand, coach and provide feedback for all ground to stand exercises
- To understand how observing a persons coordination can be a more inclusive movement assessment than strength or flexibility alone
- To understand what Archetypal rest postures are and how they relate to this course
- Be able to write a regular fitness program that includes ground to stand movements
About coach tim
Tim began his career as a personal trainer in 2011, working within large commercial gyms. He started in the fitness education sector in 2015 which marked a significant step in his commitment to professional development. In 2018, Tim founded and operated a successful group coaching facility, emphasizing the importance of prehabilitation and injury prevention, which allowed him to cultivate a deep understanding of effective training methodologies. His areas of specialization include strength training, particularly corrective exercise, where he focuses on cueing strategies, movement neurology, flexibility, and functional capacity. Tim’s extensive background in both training and education uniquely positions him to deliver impactful training solutions that resonate with fitness professionals and gym owners alike.
