Today we feature Ya Chee, a qualified nutritionist and had a little chat.
Ya Chee found out about ACE through an interesting article “Make Your Walk a Workout” which was featured in Web MD . After reading the article, she dropped into FIT to find out about the ACE Personal Trainer course.
Ya Chee :- “My job focuses on nutrition, diet plan, eating habits, how to kick off the cholesterol, how to kick off the sugar etc. I always advise my clients to do some simple exercise, 30 minutes daily. But when comes to what kind of exercises, how to perform the certain exercises, the intensity of exercise suitable for the different types of clients and so on, seriously I really have no idea on it. Doing the ACE course helped me to understand more about the myth and fact of exercise!
Ya Chee conducts one-on-one and group dietary nutrition counselling sessions for clients with as diabetes, coronary heart disease, cholesterol, obesity, overweight issues, pregnancy, childhood nutrition and others.
She has worked with and acts as a nutrition advisor for New Straits Time and other local magazines such as Men’s Health, Shape, Natural Health, Baby Talk and etc. Beside this, she also writes numerical articles and health tips to advocate the importance of nutrition.
