Exercise is commonly an underutilised weapon in the realm of preventive medicine. More often than not, what most people construe as exercise is limited to cardiovascular exercise. Strength training has only been reserved to those who have access to a gym. This clinic aims to correct those misperceptions with strong evidence-based facts and to give you an idea of how you can get the best of all worlds in designing your very own exercise regime.
There are 2 parts to Dr. Arvin’s clinic series, and they are independent of each other. We would recommend participants to join both Part 1 & Part 2 to fully benefit from this clinic.
Part 1 – Lecture: benefits of exercise from a medical standpoint and how to plan a basic exercise programme
Part 2 – Upper body and lower body exercises
