Adreanna Joyce P. Laban
Adreanna Joyce P. Laban is part of the Academic Team in FITM where her responsibilities include developing courses, tutoring students and teaching – in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin.
Adreanna began her professional career as a freelance personal trainer in her hometown of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah in 2014, and was a pioneering female athlete who competed in Women’s Physique and Bikini competitions. She has won two local women’s physique competitions and placed top five internationally, including the 2nd WFF Asia Fitness Convention Sports and Fitness Competition in Bikini Model S-Class (Thailand, 2016).
In addition to sharing her fitness journey and helping people achieve their dream body, Adreanna has played an active part in the local fitness community through various events and within different capacities. She has been a host, co-organiser, Breeze Magazine’s (Borneo) contributing writer, motivational speaker, ambassador, JK1M Weight Loss Programme team leader and CrossFit competitor.
Thanks to the advice and mentoring from FITM, Adreanna is now realising her true strength and potential within the fitness industry as a full-time fitness educator. Understanding that her real passion lies in helping and motivating others in their fitness journey, Adreanna’s goal is to contribute towards the growth of other trainers and thereby the development of the fitness industry.
