Sebastian Tan, who was a Health Psychology researcher (area of research: health locus of control) and educator in local universities turned fitness coach due to his passion to guide people to healthier and fitter lifestyle in a pragmatic way. With the belief that engaging people face-to-face would be a more practical way to improve health and fitness, he quit his job as a tertiary educator and started off his career in the fitness industry 5 years ago and was engaged as Health & Fitness Manager, Master Trainer, and Group Exercise Instructor by Fitness First.
Now he continues his passion as a Head Coach and Co-founder of House Atlas Strength and Training Facility that specialises in functional movement training, corrective exercises, strength and performance conditioning. He believes that if someone is able to train, it is a privilege! Financial power should not be a hindrance to a fitter lifestyle; therefore, he is into providing affordable and sustainable fitness coaching to general population, collegiate, as well as national athletes (Ultimate Frisbee & Dodgeball).
