SPEAKER’S PROFILE

Jason Moriarty

After over 17 years in the fitness industry, Mr. Moriarty has created his own fitness company, Tropic’s Fitness – a unique, ladies’ only gym that offers a friendly and supportive environment for women to improve their lives and health. Jason a British Graduate, in Business and Finance went on to study gymnasium management; he is also a Nautilus Master Trainer. Before founding the Tropic’s Fitness organization, Mr. Moriarty was the Business Development Manager for Gold’s Gym (Malaysia), a company well known for its commitment to serious exercise and training with over 650 franchises worldwide. While at Gold’s Gym (Malaysia), Mr. Moriarty developed and introduced innovative systems, procedures, and programmes for the development and growth of the company and its employees.
Moriarty is no stranger to advancing companies; while at Gold’s Gym (Manila), he was responsible for the oversight of the USD 5 million development, and generated income and profits for the club by carefully hiring and training competent sales staff, exceeding sales targets, and developing original promotions.

Prior to moving to Asia Mr. Moriarty was a business manager for Serco Plc. a leading publics listed company. Providing cost effective solutions for the management and growth of Government facilities in particular the leisure sector. Moriarty has also provided consultation and training for a number of prestigious companies such as Serco PLC. Raffles Hotel Group, Sheraton Imperial, Grand Hyatt, Celebrity Fitness, Gold’s Gym Inc.
